Storyline:
Visalakshi (Sneha) is only daughter of her rich Chettiar parents living in Karaikudi town. She is lonely and bored and wishes to be married into a joint family. As per her wish, she is married off to Natesan (Cheran), an engineer working with the State Electricity Board. Natesan comes from an affluent joint family. Visalakshi easily merges with her husband's large family consisting of her in-laws- Natesan's uncles, aunts and children. She is delighted to be in their company. She is affectionately called Sala in the family. But soon Natesan gets a transfer to a hill station (Attakatti).

Storyline
Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi want to re-unite with their fellow collegian, Rancho, after faking a stroke abroad an Air India plane, and excusing himself from his wife - trouser less - respectively. Storyline
The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who dissaprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Allie, then, with her love for Noah still alive, stops by Noah's 200-year-old home that he restored for her, "to see if he's okay". It is evident that they still have feelings for each other, and Allie has to choose between her fiancé and her first love.

Storyline
Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) is a dancer and the director of a successful music and dance troupe. He hires Pooja (Madhuri Dixit). She and Rahul are increasingly attracted to each other, but they act as if it were not happening. Pooja, unknown to Rahul, is already engaged to Ajay (Akshay Kumar), the son of family friends who raised her when her parents were killed.
